Reviving from a hitchike trip.
Just like I planned, I did hitchike all the way
from northern Finland to the city of Tampere. It´s about 400 km
away from here. It took almost 12 hours to get there - I started in morning
and I was there in the evening. I travelled with six different persons
who decided to give me a ride. That was a wednesday. Yesterday I came
back with Mika and Toni. In the beginning of this week I heard from Kuupo,
that Toni - a young dude from Raahe is also in Tampere. I asked him when
he goes back and that´s howI got the ride to back home.
Today it´s raining. It make some noise here in this attic home of mine, because a metal roof is just over me. While I hitchiked, it rained only once. It lasted just about 10 minutes and I had an umbrella. Second photo from the left on below, is taken from Kurikka. I took it from the same place where I stood with an umbrella waiting for a rain to stop. The rain wasn´t the worst thing. Very few cars wen´t to the right direction most of the turning to an another road. Only few cars means not much chance to get a ride. However, over two hours of waiting gave me a ride after all. Near of Tampere Erno tried to hitchike too. He didn´t manage to do it very well. He didn´t even came out from my bag. That´s why I decided to continue myself. It would also have been very embarassing if Erno could catch a ride alone, truly without me. We managed to get to Tampere. My friend Katja had a kitten called Fridja which was a little bit scared of Erno. Erno liked Tampere so much that he decided to stay a while at Katja´s and Antero´s home. He´ll come back here with them for his birthday party. |
