On tuesday morning I woke up and hurried to school. When I took my bike, I noticed a letter on it. I put on my pocket and hurried to school. During cycling, I thought of several possible things that the letter might contain. They were all negative things, like some kind of complaints from neighbours "turn that music down please!". I imagined many negative possibilities before I reached the school. Then I opened the letter and read it.

A girl from next door told me that she had noticed me couple of times. She wrote that she would like to know me better, perhaps with a cup of coffee. She also apologised for this "odd" way to contact me. I was happy. I started to wonder why all my assumptions of the contents of this letter were negative. One reason might be the moment I got the letter. Early morning isnt the best moment for the best mood. Another realistic reason is my knowledge about the guys in my current apartment. Four other guys live in the same apartment as me, everyone with an own room. One of them is very annoying sometimes. He have an ugly habit to get drunk in this apartment with his messy and noisy friends. That probably makes me expect the worst from people around my current apartment.

However, on the same day I went to see the girl next door. She left a phone number on the letter and I send a SMS message to her. She asked me to come and have a cup of cocoa. Even even though she's quite a young girl just starting senior high school, she´s seems to be very clever and determined. We talked about lot of things. It was great to meet someone who could also talk about philosophy and religions. Also on a global, humane and historical scale. It´s something that many older people can't cope with easily. I guess, that it would be very hard for messy and noisy guys too. No matter how drunk or not they are.
