A small kind of apocalypse
Before the last sunday night I have always left rock festivals during the last day. Especially in Provinssirock, which lasts three days: after that I want to get a shower in home and sleep comfortably. In Provinssirock 2005 I did exception this year. I saw how most of the people left during sunday evening and camping area started to look very different. Few random tents everywhere and A LOT of garbage, even usefull stuff that people have decided to leave behind.
Religios converters whom are part of rock festivals (at least in Finland) keep telling about apocalypse, the end of the world. Walking around camping area with a friend made me think that maybe they have a good point. Not just living in such a shitty place, but people stealing stuff all the time, even things that they don't probably need. A backpack of my friend, with some sleeping equipment was stolen from my tent during a short walk around the camping area. Who really need that stuff? I can understand a cell phone (which was stolen from me during the first night) but why such pretty useless stuff?
I didn't mention yet the guy who was burning plastic chairs in the middle of the road. You can see that going on in the last picture down there. Just like the flames of burning chairs, bands made me warmer too. Mew, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails to mention few, made me warmer. Without a polluting smoke.
