Ilosaarirock were great! I enjoyed bands and had fun! However, I have a bad habit to compare every festivals to previous ones, which were legendary in many ways. This time I didn't do much stupid and weird things, just like on recent years. Provinssirock 2002 is something I always compare because it was such an absurd experience.

Don´t get me wrong, I don´t have to do anything stupid or experience anything odd to have fun at rock festival. It just seems little odd to me, that nothing can compare to that particular Provinssirock. Maybe I´m becoming old and boring, because I´m happy without any such strange experiences. Seeing bands is higher priority to me. Everything else comes after it. Tickets are quite expensive so I guess it makes quite sense?

When I left a camping area in Ilosaarirock, I saw something that I could describe to be quite absurd. Or very sick. I saw a frying pan lying on the ground. Nothing special about that, but there were AN ENORMOUS human shit in it! When I saw it I remembered what I saw last night. I actually saw a punk shitting it with a funny grin on his face. I´m relieved. At least some absurdity still remains in the world of today...
