Never say "no" to a free hangover!
I spend last weekend on northern Finland, giving congratulations to my friends who just got graduated. They are soon going to start working on with their military service, so this was the one few times when I could see them before that. You see, in Finland every healthy young men is somehow involved with military service. When my friends go there, I probably won't see them for a while. I probably see more often some another friend who just went into Lapinjärvi. He goes in civilian service just like I did five years ago. Just in case you ask, I tell you that civilian service lasts a year and you get paid virtually nothing from it.
On saturday I took a train to go Oulu and then Raahe, where my friends got graduated. I didn't feel very well in the train, because I had a little hangover. On friday I was on boat sailing trip around Kallavesi - a huge lake that surrounds my current home town, Kuopio. Trip was offered by my employee, KPY which is the company who owns the TV-Channel I work for part time as a chat-show speaker. Several drinks was offered among the trip. Possibly severe liver damage was absorbed too, I guess. Most Finns can never say "no" for a free alcohol. This applys especially for students.
Hangover can also be very inspiring. During my train trip on saturday I got wonderful ideas! It's even possible that some of my ideas will materialize in the future, at least in some way. I saw some kind of path lying in my head when I closed my eyes. I couldn't say exactly where it ends, but I could say that if it leads where I think, I could earn some money. It's weird. Usually my ideas and projects aren't significant in commercial means. I think I will at least try. If I don't I will regret it when I'm old. Even if reincarnation would be reality, I would have to make this idea to reality in this life. It's a challenge enough to make at least portion of my ideas to come true. A good fact is that I love challenges!
