A question of balance

Well well, December has begun. Just like new courses in my school. This time not much theory, instead of that our class have courses to train artistic skills. Photography, sculpturing, sketch drawing, and painting. Even this is not an art school but graphic designing, we have to know basics about those skills too. Suits me fine, I like to do art. It's easy to me swich on artistic "mode" and do things in intuitive way. Use the force Erno!

Many times when I have faced things about art, I really have tought what it could be like to be an artist. I mean a professional artist who´s somewhat succesfull in it what he´s doing. I know many pro´s and con´s about it. It would be great to have freedom to create art that reflects own ideas and opinions about the world were we living in. It´s the freedom that I definitely would use - I already have so many ideas and project sketches that I wouldn´t run out of ideas soon. Problem is, that for the most artists their profession doesn´t provide much money. The freedom of artists applys after all only for the most succesfull ones, they can do what they want. Others have to do what they can - to earn the daily salary for the living.

I hope that I can combine these things in my own future job. Maybe I can find a job where I can use my ideas and earn sufficient amount of money too. Enough to keep high standards of my living, you know? It´s also possible that I end up to do something not so creative thing and do that some time until I get enough of it. Maybe I can save some money and start to work with my own projects when I feel that it´s the right time. My life won´t last forever, but I think I still have a lot of time. I shouldn´t push my ideas too far to the future, but also remember that there is no reason to hurry either. It´s a question of balance I guess.
